Moondog Records
Moondog Records in Downtown Las Vegas is an independently owned record store with a spectacular collection of vinyl. The owner, Clint McKean, started the store with his own personal collection, which has since grown to over 10,000 records. He also has a great selection of rare and classic albums. Moondog Records also sells CDs, cassettes, guitars, amps, music books, memorabilia, and boom-boxes.

Zia Record Exchange
Zia isn’t just a record store, it’s also a nerd haven. With walls of items from Superheros to Doctor Who, Zia sells all kinds of collectables. They have an impressive collection of CDs, cassettes, DVDs, BluRay, and, of course, vinyl. The store is pretty big, and you can spend hours perusing the stacks and sales.

Record City
Record City may not look like much from the outside, but inside, it’s a music lover’s paradise. With a huge collection of rare and popular albums, Record City has everything you could wish for. They’ve been in business for over 20 years, with additional locations in San Diego. They also buy/sell/trade vinyl, DVDs, CDs, music memorabilia, and occasionally cassette, 8-tracks, and laser discs.

11th Street Records
11th Street Records is a great community store that not only buys and sells vinyl, but also hosts a number of events. For example, you can attend vinyl listening parties, or hear live performances in store! They even have a recording studio set up in the back for musicians. They’re big supporters of independent labels and bands, and have a great selection.
