Excalibur Hotel & Casino

Las Vegas Excalibur guests are given the chance to enjoy contemporary rooms, a bustling casino, a fun filled dining ambiance, nightly shows and more, all while residing in a colossal castle.

It’sbetween the New York-New York skyline and the Egyptian Luxor pyramid. Excalibur guests are able to discover far more than armor and knights at this hotel.

At the center of the property, elevators and escalators offer easy access to upper levels.

Restaurants

Once upstairs, you will come across The Buffet at Excalibur. It features six food stations that serve a vast array of cuisines including American, Italian, Asian and Latin. There’s also The Steakhouse at Camelot.

Or for something more casual, there’s an expansive 25,000 square foot Castle Walk Food Court. It includes Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen, Auntie Anne’s Soft Rolled Pretzels, and more.

The casino level offers guests the chance to head to Dick’s Last Resort, where your meal will be provided to you with a healthy bit of silliness. Buca di Beppo is known for its deliciously sizable portions of Italian food with a family style twist, while Johnny Rockets serves up classic burgers, fries and milkshakes. The Lounge provides live entertainment of the pop and punk variety.

The motorcycle themed Octane Lounge is also located upstairs and you can start your evening there with a few drinks.

Entertainment

Check out the showroom shared by knights without their shining armor, a Bee Gees tribute band and the Thunder from Down Under dance troupe. The Canterbury Wedding Chapel is also located on this floor.

The front of the Excalibur provides stair and escalator access to the Fun Dungeon downstairs, where there are several carnival style games to enjoy and an arcade loaded with all the latest video games, designed for things to do with kids in Las Vegas or those who have a healthy inner child. The “Tournament of Kings” offers games and shows in a traditional arena style as well.

The massive casino has more than enough slot and video poker machines to keep you busy, in addition to a wide variety of table games. Stained glass panels that depict medieval scenes colorfully decorate the gaming floor roof. If you are looking for more excitement, head to The Party Pit, where you can play roulette, three card poker games and blackjack.

Amenities and Relaxation

After a night full of rowdiness and debauchery, visit the Excalibur Spa. It is home to a steam room, sauna and fitness center, in addition to offering a full menu of body treatments.

The Excalibur’s 2,000 widescreen rooms come with modernized décor, recently upgraded amenities and sizable bathrooms with granite counter tops. Its  standard rooms provide comfort with hints of the castle theme at a price that is easily affordable. Be sure to remember the $300 fee for guests who are caught lighting up in non smoking rooms.

The kingdom is rounded out with the pool area, which offers more than just a simple moat. The Drenched pool café is included in the experience, in addition to a separate pool for adults only with a fire pit, cabanas and sun decks that are perfect for the king and queen of the Excalibur castle. A family pool with an exhilarating water slide is available for those with little ones.

In search of easy access to other hotels? An indoor walkway connects Excalibur visitors to the Luxor. A pedestrian bridge is also available, connecting the Excalibur to the Tropicana and the New York-New York. Last but not least, a free tram takes guests from Excalibur to the Luxor and then over to Mandalay Bay.
