Frank Marino’s Divas
Divas Starring Frank Marino gives the titular star a chance to showcase his signature sizzle, as this Vegas icon has transitioned from his 20 year starring role at the Riviera’s “La Cage” and is now taking audiences by storm with this new show, which takes place at The LINQ.
Times and Location
Location: The Linq Theater at The LINQ Hotel and Casino
Show Length:90 minutes
The revue lasts for 75 minutes, with a bevy of superstar female impersonators that portray a wide range of famous divas including Cher, Britney Spears, Dolly Parton, Madonna, Beyonce and Diana Ross.
Marino plays the role of comedic icon Joan Rivers and also serves as the show’s host. The show begins with a stirring performance of Lady Gaga’s “Let’s Dance.” A Lady Gaga impersonator lip syncs along with the chart topping smash. Six studly male back up dancers are present and ready to get the party started.
With her sparkling glasses, short, white patent leather dress and blonde wig, this Lady Gaga is every bit as entertaining as the songstress herself. After the performance, Frank greets the audience and offers a few jokes.
Marino lets the audience know exactly what they are in for. He tells audiences that Cher, Bette Midler, Madonna are getting ready. Marino is a talented emcee, with a sassy manner of speaking and a constantly changing wardrobe of stunning gowns and beautiful feather boas.
He changes his outfit in between every act, bringing a different style of international couture to the stage with each and every entrance.
Marino even dons a fitted evening gown and compares the garment to a cheap dress, since it lacks “ballroom”. As a series of new female impersonators take the stage, the audience is amazed.
The performers here do not sing, but they are able to emulate every single aspect of the divas that they impersonate, from their signature moves to their looks.
Thanks to the high energy soundtrack, these performances are even more exhilarating. All acts offer a performance of your favorite diva’s number 1 hits. These include Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me),” Madonna’s “Music,” and Britney Spears’ “Circus”.
Some acts feature talented back up dancers, while others are content to go solo. During the latter stages of the show, a Liza Minnelli impersonator offers a riveting performance of “New York, New York.”
With his facial expressions and convincing dance moves, it may be hard to believe that Marino is not actually singing. This is a perfect performance where you can enjoy glitzy costumes and watch dazzling performances. They’ll play your favorite chart topping hits, making Divas Starring Frank Marino is the place to be.Book Now
