Free Outdoor Attractions in Las Vegas

Welcome to Las Vegas Sign

If it’s your first time in Vegas, you can’t miss the classic Welcome to the Las Vegas Sign. Take your photo under the iconic sign. Here’s a tip: you can take your own photo, you don’t have to wait in line or pay money.

The Wildlife Habitat at The Flamingo

The Wildlife Habitat at The Flamingo is a great place to get a bit of fresh air. Indulge in the beautiful flora, fauna, and animals there. You’ll see birds, fish, and of course, flamingos. It’s also a great place to take the little ones!

Fremont Street Experience

Okay, you know when someone says something’s “free,” but it’s only semi-true? This is one of those. Technically, walking down Fremont Street Experience and visiting Container Park are completely free. However, there are so many bars, restaurants, and amazing shops, we doubt you’ll get out of there without spending a few pennies. Don’t forget to take a selfie with the Container Park Praying Mantis!

Fountains at Bellagio

Another free, iconic Vegas experience is watching the Fountains at the Bellagio. Show happen all day, every day, but we recommend going at night. It takes the water show to a whole new level.

The Volcano at The Mirage

While you’re on The Strip, don’t forget to check out The Volcano at The Mirage! There’s real, actual fire. Need we say more?

City Center Fine Art Collection

If you’re looking for something a bit more sophisticated, check out the various art installations and sculptures at the City Center Fine Art Collection. There are paintings and large-scale works that will make you say, “Ooh.”

The Strip

Yeah, it’s cliche, but you can’t miss The Strip. Take a day to meander from hotel to hotel. Check out the Venetian Canals, the Pirate Ship at Treasure Islan. Don’t miss the barge at Cleo’s or the Fall of Atlantis at Caesars.  There’s plenty to do and see without ever leaving Las Vegas Blvd!
