Las Vegas brings the best in everything, including food. There are tons of diverse restaurants serving dishes from every part of the world – including the Philippines.  Las Vegas has a vibrant Filipino community, and if you’re a foodie, some of the best Filipino food can be found in Las Vegas.  Here’s a list of some of our favorite Las Vegas Filipino restaurants!

Eastside

Max’s Restaurant

This restaurant opened its doors in 1945 after World War II. What started as a friendly stop for drinks at Maximo Gimenez’s home by American soldiers blossomed into 70 years of serving the best Filipino cuisine. This restaurant also serves cakes and pastries as well, but became famous for its fried chicken.

 

LJ’s Filipino Restaurant and Pub

The Filipino food at this restaurant rocks. Some of the delicious dishes put together by the Head Chef Ilocano Kapampangan include the Bistek Tagalog. They make this dish with with a thin piece of beef cooked in soy sauce and lemon juice, topped with the Ginataang sitaw and caramelized onions.

Kusina Ni Lorraine

This restaurant not only serves delicious Filipino food but also offers a comfortable homely feel. It is perfect for a casual outing with the family and friends. Some of their most like dishes include the pancit, lumpia and garlic peanuts. They also offer Filipino desserts like the Buko Pandan, their meals are budget friendly and they also run a home delivery service.

Westside

Carding’s Tambayan

Carding’s Tambayan has great food, karaoke nights and also a dance floor. Fusing dance and good food like the original pork sisig, deep fried pork belly mixed with onions and jalapeno, and deep fried ground pork and vegetables, it’s no wonder why this restaurant makes the list!

D’Pinoy Joint

The pork dishes at D’Pinoy are to die for. Some of the best selling dishes at this restaurant include:

  •      Pork tonkatsu: a dish made from deep fried pork belly served with banana ketchup, also
  •      Inihaw na baboy: pork belly that’s been grilled and marinated, also
  •      Binagoongan fried rice: fried rice mixed with chopped pork, shrimp paste and chopped tomatoes and mangoes as toppings.
