MGM Grand Hotel and Casino

With its sheer size and vast offerings, the MGM Grand more than lives up to its name. The MGM offers a world of entertainment. It’s conveniently located at one of the busiest intersections in all of Las Vegas. The resort recently completed a $160 million remodeling project. It upgraded each of its suites and rooms and added several new restaurants and a brand new nightclub.

There are plentiful entertainment options to choose from and a wide range of unique venues.  Cirque du Soleil presents “KA” and brings audiences on a unique adventure. It feels much like an action movie!

The David Copperfield Theatre is frequented by several top notch performers. U2 to the Rolling Stones take the Grand Garden Arena stage. The area also houses many of the most highly touted championship boxing bouts. Those who are looking for laughs can head to Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club.

Restaurants

The MGM Grand has no shortage of dining options, including the exquisite tastes at L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon. Also don’t miss Fiamma Trattoria’s sophistication or Michael Mina’s classic pub meals at Pub 1842.

Tom Colicchio’s Craftsteak offers lobster and steak and it is assured that you will never have the chance to go hungry.

Plus, you are also able to experience the traditions of other cities while in Las Vegas — Hakkasan Las Vegas restaurant offers patrons a taste of Hong Kong and Shanghai, while Emeril Lagasse’s New Orleans Fish House delivers New Orleans favorites or you can head to Wolfgang Puck’s Bar & Grill and sample Southern California stylings.

Crush was recently opened by the Morton Restaurant Group and offers a celebration of friends, food and drink. Meanwhile, Hecho en Vegas provides a cross between popular Mexican favorites and traditional Sonoran cuisine.

Casual dining is also readily available. You can find it at the MGM Grand Food Court, the MGM Grand Buffet, and Blizz Frozen Yogurt.

There is an extensive cocktail list available at the Lobby Bar. Nighttime crowds love partying until the wee hours of the morning at Centrifuge. Classic lunch and dinner favorites are provided at Tap Sports Bar. Guests also enjoy sports memorabilia, watching games on 60 inch high definition televisions and 48 draft beers.

Entertainment

Hakkasan Las Vegas is a multistory nightclub made for pleasure seekers. Come to dance, drink and also dine. Wet Republic lets you keep the party alive all day long or you can take a load off at the Grand Spa, which provides several therapies in over 20 treatment rooms, offering you a much needed respite from the casino chaos.

Speaking of the massive casino, the hotel entices players with an array of games. These include craps, blackjack, roulette and several poker and slot machines, as well as a baccarat lounge, keno and high end slots. The sports and racing book offers private sky boxes, the Stage Deli and a bar. Whiskey Down delivers high end gaming, with a 64 seat bar that offers an impressive array of specialty cocktails.

CSI: The Experience is a great place for aspiring sleuths! There is also television research studio on site (CBS Television City) and a pool complex with five outdoor swimming pools and a lengthy lazy river.

The District and The Underground offer shopping at its best in Las Vegas, in a neighborhood-like atmosphere and you will discover great jewelry, clothing, sweets, keepsakes, and more.
