The Orleans Hotel and Casino

The Entertainment Capital of the World and the Big Easy come together at The Orleans Hotel. It’s located west of the Las Vegas Strip, just a short drive away. The facade is playful and reminds visitors of the French Quarter. With door handles shaped like alligators, the soul of New Orleans is alive and well here.

Bright and festive colors are used to decorate the inside of the casino, with sizable Mardi Gras masks that hang down from the interior ceiling and drinking establishments such as the Bourbon Street Cabaret, where you can enjoy live entertainment and various drinks.

Entertainment

In true Vegas style, there’s a casino that offers video poker, slots and keno machines, and more. There’s a wide range of table games, and a non smoking poker room that is open 24 hours a day. You’ll also find a sports and race book, among many other amenities.

The Orleans Showroom is an 850 seat facility that plays host to a number of top line bands, comedians and singers. In addition, the Orleans Arena is state of the art, featuring family entertainment, concerts and sporting events.

There are plenty of things for the whole family to see and do here, from the 18 screen movie theater to the 70 lane bowling center. Young children can play at Kids Tyme (which is professionally supervised), while teens head to the Time Out Arcade to play some video games.

Restaurants

The Orleans offers a plethora of different dining options for patrons to choose from. The Prime Rib Loft’s offers utterly delectable prime rib. There’s also Ondori Asian Kitchen’s sushi and Chinese fare, and Big Al’s Oyster Bar’s oysters, which are always freshly shucked.

Numerous casual dining options are also available to those who stay at the Orleans with French Market Buffet, Alder and Birch, T.G.I. Friday’s, Java Vegas Coffee and Courtyard Cafe all available to you. There is also a food court that houses a Sbarro, Fuddruckers, Baskin-Robbins and Subway.

Amenities

The Orleans’ rooms are quite comfortable, featuring various amenities such as hair dryers, flat screen televisions, spacious sitting areas for lounging and coffeemakers.

The hotel also prides itself on going above and beyond to make the stay as pleasant as possible for guests. Additional amenities include a barber shop, salon, large hot tub, two pools, a luxurious spa, liquor store and the Rocky Mountain Coffee Shop. Free shuttle service is also provided to the Gold Coast and to and from the Las Vegas Strip.

Most importantly of all, The Orleans is happy to offer the distinctive charm and dynamic entertainment of its namesake. Mardi Gras is already underway and it will never end here. Don’t be surprised if you wind up leaving The Orleans with a few strings of multicolored beads around your neck!
