School of Rock: The Musical is a renowned hit from Andrew Lloyd Webber. It also brings the comical 2003 film starring Jack Black to the stage. The show follows a wannabe rock star Dewey as he acts as a substitute teacher and tries to turn a group of prep school students into a guitar-shredding, face-melting rock band. There will be lots of recognizable songs from the movie for you to sing along. Furthermore, you will also enjoy some new hits while you watch Dewey lead the students to the Battle of the Bands.

Summer at The Smith Center will come to an end with feel-good and ferociously fun musical On Your Feet! Explore the lives of a renowned Cuban couple of the pop music world, Emilio and Gloria Estefan. This musical takes you inside an inspirational true story. It’s about a young girl from Havana who becomes one of the biggest stars in the music industry. It features exuberant choreography, incredible storytelling, and hits like “Turn the Beat Around” and “Rhythm Is Gonna Get You.” This musical will leave you humming some of the best Estefan songs long after the musical ends.
