5 Things to Do in Vegas if You Are an Adrenaline Junkie

When it comes to taking a trip, nowhere matches the excitement and flair of Las Vegas if you’re an adrenaline junkie. There is nothing quite like the entertainment options and the bright lights that you can find in Sin City. It is a place well-known for its 24-hour casinos, luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, cabaret, and nightclubs. And, there are plenty of experiences for adrenaline junkies and thrill seekers.

Following are 5 things to do in Vegas if you are an adrenaline junkie:

The Strat SkyJump and Rides

The iconic Stratosphere Tower is considered one of the most exciting attractions in Vegas. The Strat offers rides that are perfect for adrenaline junkies and thrill seekers. Be a hero and try the SkyJump and experience the thrill of jumping at an official height of 829 ft. Scream as loud as you can in X-Scream. Furthermore, you can also try the gut-wrenching Big Shot and the heart-pounding Insanity ride. The Big Shot is a 160 ft. tower ride that accelerates at 45 mph.

Mountain Ziplining

About a half hour drive from the Strip is the Red Mountain in Bootleg Canyon Park. Here, you have a chance to soar off the top of the Mountain on a series of ziplines. These ziplines will take you on a thrilling 2.5-hour tour of the desert ecosystem. You will see the magnificent views of Vegas, Eldorado Valley, and Lake Mead.

Extreme Off Roading

With so much desert and dunes in Vegas, there are many excursions that involve ATVs and Dune Buggies. Go out on a desert trip and try the extreme ATV Adventure. You will be riding a series of trails past red rock formations and sandstone cliffs. Tours range from soaring over dunes for an hour or two to full day excursions through varied landscape of rock formations, desert, and valleys. The vehicles have automatic transmission and they are easy to operate. You can see the entrance of the Grand Canyon when driving to the top of the mesas as well as see the views of Lake Mead.

Extreme Target Practice

A visit to The Gun Store will allow you to legally fire off a few rounds from guns ranging from AK-47’s and Desert Eagles to UZIs and Sniper Rifles. The Gun Store is located right in Las Vegas, so here’s a chance to stare down the sights of a .44 Magnum like Dirty Harry.

Air Combat Experience

Take to the skies in a combat plane under the supervision of a trained fighter pilot and pull high G’s and aerial maneuvers in a real dogfight. Track down your enemy and pull the trigger as you fly the plane. Although the full package is a bit costly, Sky Combat Ace offers thrills at a price probably less than what you will lose in the casinos.
