Whiskey Pete’s – Primm Valley Resorts
Visitors looking for a traditional Old West experience are welcome to visit Whiskey Pete’s in Primm. This resort is also located roughly 40 miles south of the world famous Las Vegas Strip.
This resort was named after a rumored bootlegger by the name Ernest Jay Primm. He was responsible for opening the resort back in 1977. While Whiskey Pete’s has certainly evolved, guests are still able to enjoy its wild and whimsical atmosphere. It features various wall dressings designed to replicate the look and feel of the earliest mining towns. There are also stained glass depictions of various prospectors.
Entertainment
Two fascinating automobiles are on display at the entrance: the 1931 Lincoln that once belonged to notorious gangster Dutch Schultz. The vehicle that the infamous robbers Bonnie and Clyde were killed inside of is also accessible to guests. Both of these vehicles can be seen totally free of charge.
Guests can also enjoy a sparkling courtyard pool that has a water slide for your children to play on.
Do you feel lucky? If so, the expansive casino (which spans over 30,000 square feet) has been with all the latest video poker and slot machines. Several popular table games, including blackjack, are also available.

There’s a McDonald’s and an IHOP (International House of Pancakes) available on the premises of Whiskey Pete’s. Both have tons of breakfast, lunch, and dinner items, and are affordable options.
Guests who wish to enjoy a cold beer or delicious cocktail typically enjoy Pete’s Place. Dart boards and pool tables offer plenty of low key gaming enjoyment, you’ll find dancing and the Whiskey Band performs here each weekend. Various famous comedians and other nationally prominent performers will appear at the resort’s showroom.
Amenities
Whiskey Pete’s rooms have undergone a recent remodeling project and are very clean. Rooms come with a 40 inch flat screen television set, comfortable pillow top bed, desk for work purposes, chair, a hair dryer and an ironing board/iron.
Whiskey Pete’s is just a quick and free shuttle ride (or weekend monorail ride) from Buffalo Bill’s and Primm Valley Resort and Casino. Additional amenities are available at these locations, including a fitness center, spa, concert arena and many thrilling rides.
